The problem

Who buys it

Intelligence providers
Firms writing country and city risk products that need a Brazil chapter with neighbourhood granularity they cannot produce in-house. We write the chapter and hand over the tables and the method note behind it; your analysts publish it under your name.
Due diligence and investment teams
Private equity, M&A and real assets teams pricing an operating risk they can currently only describe: a site, a route, a portfolio of locations, an expansion footprint.
Corporate security and site selection
Security, real estate and duty-of-care functions choosing between candidate addresses, setting staff movement policy, or defending a placement decision to their own board.
How it works

What you get

An example, built on real records

A full assessment of twelve São Paulo districts over a closed twelve-month window. It is the format, the depth and the honesty standard you would receive.

Twelve districts compared on one window and one denominator, so the ranking holds
Two prime office districts on the same avenue, 2.8× apart on street robbery per resident
Hour and day of occurrence: street robbery peaking at 3.4× the overnight trough
Down to the street number: 225 offences at one address, 121 of them on a single weekday
The victim dimension police records do not carry: age, sex, relationship, repeat victimisation
Four cross-register readings, each one spelled out and never merged into a single count

Common questions

Before you ask

Is the sample real?
Ask for the sample and it arrives as a PDF. Nothing in it is illustrative: every figure is a count of what was recorded, on a window that is stated, against a denominator that is stated.
Does it cover my geography?
Brazil-wide, down to the street number. A single normalised dataset over the whole country, assembled from police, health, mortality and census records. Neighbourhood-level detail currently resolves 2,571 neighbourhoods across 2,780 municipalities and 38 million people, and it keeps growing. Base date 4 August 2026.
Who is behind it?
Crime Brasil builds and maintains a normalised, geocoded crime dataset for Brazil, assembled from state police records, federal health and mortality records and national statistical sources. We run a public platform in Portuguese that serves this data to a Brazilian audience every day, which is how the pipeline stays current and how errors get found. The same infrastructure produces bespoke assessments in English for corporate and institutional clients.

Send the geography, the period and what the output has to support. An analyst will come back on whether the data carries it, at what granularity, and what the assessment would contain.
